After years of showing Sci-Fi Channel programming and making
countless people laugh, on August 4, 2004 "Caption This!" finally
ended. The site froze on a picture from "Crossing Over With John
Edward" for over a week, and was never repaired -- eventually
going offline permanently. Here's a selection of those captions from
when the frozen-screegrab began, up through the days that followed.
